467. After Raphael (early 19th century), "Allegory"; oil/panel, 14" x 32", unsigned. This is a copy of a famous painting by Raphael, and is in a very fine hand-carved gilt wood frame, in the manner of Adam. 1000-1500

468. August Laux (American, 1847-1921), "Cat and Kittens", c.1900; oil/panel, 12" x 16", signed, fine frame. Laux began painting full time around 1870, but developed his mature style about ten years later. In the 1880s, he began painting stll lifes and genre scenes, which he exhibited at the National Academy of Design. 3000-4000
