463. George Schultz (American, b.1869), "Coastal Scene", c.1910; oil/canvas, 22" x 32", signed. Chicago area painter. He specialized in landscapes and costal scenes, and exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, Cliff Dwellers, and the Chicago Gallery Association. 1000-1500

464. Elizabeth Nourse (American, 1859-1938), "Avenue", c.1915; watercolor on paper, 7" x 9.5". Important painter from Cincinnati, Nourse left for Paris in the late 19th century, and remained in France her entire lifetime. She painted landscapes, portraits, and peasant women and children. Her work is in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, Cincinnati Art Museum, National Gallery of Art, and the Musee d'Orsay (Paris). 1500-2500

465. Granville Perkins (American, 1830-1895), "Cuban Landscape", c. 1860; oil/canvas, 18" x 24", signed. Perkins exhibited at the National Academy of Design (1862-89) and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (1856). He spent some time in Cuba, and illustrated Leslie's, "Beyond the Mississippi". 800-1200
