| 539. Luigi Lucioni (American, b.1900), "Vermont Landscape", c.1960; oil/board, 8" x 10", signed. Lucioni studied at the National Academy of Design and the Cooper Union. He worked primarily as an etcher in the 1920s, and this attention to detail and the precision involved in the execution of the etchings was instrumental in his precise painting style. He began painting the Vermont landscape in 1929, and painted it throughout his career. 3000-4000 |
