Scene", c.1925; oil/board, 10" x 12", signed. Important
California painter. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago in
the 1890s, before moving to California in 1908.
Coburn established a studio at 218 South Broadway, in Los
Angeles (in the Copp Bldg), and exhibited at the Laguna Beach
Art Association (1921); California Yacht Club (1922);
painters and Sculptors of Southern California (1923); and
