| Costume & Bakelite Jewelry The fourth session of this sale features the fourth selection from the Ripley Collection and other consignments. This offering promises to be the most exciting yet. Included is the famous "Pumpkin Man" Bakelite pin, a pivoting, Googly eye creation that is considered to be the most important Bakelite piece in this, if not all collections. Also, in the Bakelite category, is a Martha Sleeper pirate set, a black "Philadelphia Bracelet", a multi-color bowtie bangle, a reverse carved bracelet with a flying stork, dot bangles, hat pins fruit pieces and a black and red Motorola S-grill radio. There will be nearly 120 lots in the Bakelite category. |
Trifari pieces will also include "Fruit Salad", "Jelly Belly" and enameled pieces. There will be 23 lots of Mexican silver offered, including Spratling, Aguilar, Los Costillos, Antonio, Salvador and Sigi. |

With over 130 lots of costume jewelry, the premier piece promises to be the famous "Swan Lake" pearl belly pin by Trifari. There will be some very good, early pieces by Marcel Boucher, including a
hummingbird pin, a bird nest pin and a praying mantis pin. Coro pieces will include "Jelly Belly" and "Duette" pins. There will be over 20 lots
of Eisenberg, including figural and colored
rhinestone pieces. Also look for a great Haskell set, Hobe, a very desirable Reja face pin and Staret "Remember Pearl Harbor" and jester pins. |
