451. Louis Aston Knight (French/American, 1873-1946), "Reno, Nevada", c.1925; oil/canvas, 18" x 21", signed and titled. This French painter spent a good deal of time in the United States, and executed several works of classic American subject matter in his well known impressionist style. He was the son of painter Daniel Ridgeway Knight. He exhibited at the Paris Salon and the Paris Expo. 2500-3500
