697. Federico Cantu (American/Mexican, b.1908), "Dove", c.1950; color lithograph, 18" x 24", signed, framed. Cantu was born in Mexico in 1908. He worked as an apprentice to Diego Rivera for several years, before moving to Los Angeles in 1928. He exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 1930 and at the Stendahl Gallery in 1937. 300-500 |
