617. Olaf Brauner (American/Norwegian, 1869-1947), "Late Afternoon, Isles of Shoals", c.1910; oil/canvas, 24" x 20", signed, fine carved frame. He studied with Benson and Tarbell in Boston. Brauner was a member of the Scandanavian-American Artists and the Gargoyle Society, and his work is in the collections of Amherst College, Cornell University, and the Vanderpoel Memorial Gallery (Chicago). 2000-3000
