McConaha was part of a group of artists working in
Richmond, Indiana in the first part of the 20th century. He studied with
Guy Wiggins and George Baker, and was a member of the
Hoosier Salon, Richmond Art Association, Palette Club
(Richmond), Springfield Art Association, and the Connecticut Association
of Fine Artists. This is an excellent, early example of
