Well-known impressionist landscape painter from
Rochester, NY. Peters studied with John F. Carlson and Harry Leith-Ross.
He was a member of the Rochester Art Club,
Springfield Art Association, Buffalo Art Association, and the
American Federation of Artists. He exhibited extensively from
the 1920s-40s, including at shows at the National Academy of
Design, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, and the Corcoran Gallery.
This is an outstanding example of Peter's work.
