Important Wharton Esherick stereo cabinet, 1954, burned mark "W.E. 1954", two lift-up compartments conceal turntable and AIWA rack system stereo preamplifier and tuner, walnut, speaker compartment at side with turned dowels placed at an angle, carved design representative of Esherick's early work, original finish, 42"w x 22"d x 25"h, excellent original condition 5000-7000

The back of the cabinet features an installation sketch which has been hand-drawn in pencil on paper, probably by Esherick, with instructions for installation of audio equipment.
