Los Angeles in 1906, and made regular trips painting in New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona. He was a good friend with Maynard Dixon. He was
well known for his stark, bold landscape paintings, and he exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum, Oakland Art Galleries, Stendahl Galleries,
and the Golden Gate International Exhibition. His work is included in the collections of the L.A. County Museum, San Diego Museum, and the
