oil/canvas, 24" x 32", signed. Morlan studied at the
Herron Institute with Otto Stark and William Forsyth.
She exhibited at the Hoosier Salon (1925-45), Richmond Art Association,
Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Cincinnati Art
Museum, and the Annual Exhibition of Indiana Artists
(John Herron, 1933). Her work is featured in Mary
Q. Burnet's book, Art and Artists of
Indiana. This is an outstanding example of this artist's
